Go to the Android Market and search for Sky+, you’ll be amazed to find that Sky has actually released an official Sky+ remote recording application. The application can be used as a remote control but has the ability to do much much more. After you log in with your Sky account, you can browse the entire list of TV shows and set it to record what ever you want even if your on the other side of the world. The application includes search and genre categories, making it a lot easier to find things.

Although the application is free, you’ll still obviously need to have a Sky subscription  if you want to use it. You can create a Sky.com account for your subscription which you can then link to the application. Sky has created a really good application here and a lot of people seem to like according to the comments made in the Android Market.
