Samsung Tells Us “Something BIG is coming”: Nexus Prime Teaser Video!

If you thought yesterday was just all about iPhone, you were wrong, Samsung decided to drop us a little teaser video of the Nexus Prime.  Every year Apple manages to wow the ios sheep with features that already exist on Android and this year the iphone 4S took that to another level. They’re bringing voice commands to the iPhone, a 1GHz dual-core processor, and an updated camera, all of which and more Android devices already have.

The Prime teaser video in my opinion is a whole lot more exciting than the iPhone 4S , even though it doesn’t really give away much, check it out after the break.

Samsung released a teaser video for their announcement at CTIA on October 11th, and for a couple of seconds, towards the end of the video, you get a glimpse of a  device with a curved screen much like the Nexus S. It’s pretty obvious to say that this is most likely the much anticipated Samsung/Google Nexus Prime, which we also posted a leaked Blurrycam picture of yesterday.

Other than the blatant curved screen, some pin connectors also clearly visible on the side which may most likely be for some sort of dock. The Prime looks very similar to the Samsung Galaxy SII and Samsung Nexus S from what we can see so far and that’s a good thing. There isn’t much else to see in the video, but it’s enough to get us excited, of course  stay tuned to hemorrdroids.net as we get more information about the device.

Enjoy the video below and let us know what your thoughts are in the comments section below.

    That’s definitely a legitimate concern.

Just a thought… but if those 3 dots are a dock connector, it seems like a very strange decision to put them on the same side of the phone as the power/lock button, so that it will be obscured when the phone is docked.

I think there may be more to the 3 dots than first appears.

4.6″ is niiice, I’d be very tempted by it. I like a big screen. I currently have a Dell Streak (5″) and am thinking of upgrading to a Samsung Galaxy Note (5.3″), so anything in the region of 4.5 to 5 inches is what I want.

But having suffered with a device with poor dev support and delayed OEM updates, the lure of the ‘pure google experience’ and being first with updates that a new nexus phone would offer is very appealing.

AH ma gawwwd! 4.6″ is too big! :-( , hope it has the 8hour talk time like the new i4S just announced!

I know  what you mean, unfortunately battery technology cant seem to keep up. Having a slim phone is nice, but if it gets too slim it starts to feel less premium.

Wish they’d stop making things slimmer. I want better battery life, not something that would snap if I sat down with it in my back pocket.
