Nexus Prime & ICS Video And Screenshots Come Out!

We got quite a few leaks in the last couple of days, an image of the bottom of the device that looks slightly different from what we have now and a leaked video of ICS running on the Nexus S. Now, whether those were real or not isn’t a big concern anymore as what we have now is much more solid.

We’ve got a great 1 minute video of the Prime and ICS for you to see after the break and even some screenshots of ICS for you to enjoy, so check it out.

So it’s finally here, a real image of the Nexus Prime aka Galaxy Nexus aka Google Nexus Prime or what ever else you want to call it. Check out the great video below of the device, the video doesn’t show the back or sides of the device but we can clearly see the curved front screen and ICS running very smoothly.  The video shows off mostly software, we get to see the camera, application drawer, widget selection list, lock screen and much more.

Here’s some screenshots for you to enjoy too, check them out.

Let us know what you think in the comments below.

I couldn’t have said it better, very good points there and all very valid. As for the navigation buttons not being visible during camera use, maybe there’s still work to be done and few bugs to iron out.

A few things look odd about this video.

    1) Why don’t we see the side or back of the phone at any point? The side is the only thing we have seen so far, you’d think a leaked demo of a new device would have a quick look around the thing…

    2) I’m not sure this looks big enough for the quoted 4.65″ screen, but I could be wrong. My guess is that this is some kind of development model.

    3) This looks like a genuine version of ICS, much more than the last ‘leak’ which looked a bit fake. This looks much more polished and real. If it’s not real, then whoever made it should be selling apps, because they clearly have skills!…

    4) The only strange thing about the OS is when he opens the camera towards the end, where do the home buttons go to? I’d assumed since there are no hardware buttons on the phone, they’d stay visible all the time (or how else do you navigate out of an app?)… My only answer to this is perhaps it is because he opened the camera from the lock screen, and so the phone has ‘respected’ the lock status, meaning that if you want to get out of the camera from there, you can only go back to the lock screen, and you have to actually unlock the phone to get to the home screen or other apps. Widget locker does something like this.

    5) Has this guy never used android before? he doesn’t look like he really knows what he’s doing. Why is it always morons who can’t work a camera and don’t know what they are doing who ‘leak’ stuff. Andy would have made a much better job of this video ;o)

Yeh, I wish the bezel was slightly smaller too, but regardless, I think both the phone and ICS looks amazing, can’t wait to see more of the device and features.

don’t actually like it tbh. the bezel at the top and the bottom is just too big makes the device look really long.
