A plethora of Android activity has shaken our little kingdom since the arrival of the two galactic HTC devices, with people drooling and asking everywhere “ Where can I buy please” and then proceeding to seriously hurt the Carphone Warehouse guy when he tells you its not out for another month (only kidding). But seriously, the wait is an Epic Fail…
Well now there is a chance for the lucky few that own either a HTC HD2 or Motorola Milestone device to be among the first to run the next generation Sense ROM, that is found on the new devices. The ROM has been sliced, diced, and sprinkled with a touch of fairy dust by the wizards at XDA and is now ready to breathe new life into your phone, basically morphing your phone into a HTC Desire HD 0.5.
Its not quite the finished article yet, but on the HTC HD2, it seems to have given the phone a new reason to live, with an increase of 2X the graphic processing speed than with stock WinMob 6.5, and benchmarks even eclipsing Froyo on the Nexus One & the nifty Samsung Galaxy S.
These are really exciting times, and more phones are expected to join these two in the following days, so stay tuned to XDA and Hemorrdroids.net for the latest.
So follow the links to XDA now for all this HD2 and Milestone goodness, your phone lives again…..
