Today saw the release of a video on XDA which seems to be from the HTC Desire HD. I have checked the file, and its 720p at 30 fps, and was uploaded by a reputable source. More after the break…

If you had to ask me if its better than the original Desire’s 720p at 16 fps, I would say yes, But I definitely don’t put it in the same league as the Samsung Galaxy’s HD recording. It seems to suffer from the weird brightness flicker that we saw on the Desire, but thankfully there seems to be less lag, and the autofocus looks to work well while recording.
