HTC One X Review

Initially HTC was the king of Android phones, for a few years it claimed the throne as the leading Android phone manufacturer but in 2011 there was strong competition from Samsung, which pushed HTC off its high pedestals. Samsung was pushing out high specification phones like the Samsung Galaxy SII, and HTC attempted to compete with them through their software by “improving” HTC Sense.

Unfortunately Sense UI started to become somewhat bloated and felt rather over-the-top, hence the reason why many people decided to stay away from HTC. Now, HTC once again attempts to reclaim its throne with the HTC One X, in this review we’ll look at every aspect of the device and decide on whether HTC is still in the game or not.

Sony Xperia S vs HTC One X

This has to be the head to head everyone wants to see right now.

Some interesting results I think…

HTC One X vs Sony Xperia S [Camera Test]

Two recently released high-end flagship smartphones from both Sony and HTC, to be specific the Xperia S and the One X are both touted as top-class photo snappers. Camera specifications are very impressive on both phones,  the HTC One X has an 8-megapixel shooter supported by HTC’s dedicated “ImageSense” chip, while the  Sony Xperia S sports a 12-megapixel “Exmor R” sensor, which phone will come out on top in terms of detail and quality? Keep reading to find out.

Sony Xperia S Review

I’ve never really been a fan of any previous Sony Android devices, but the Xperia S was screaming to be tried with it’s top end specifications it has the potential to challenge for the Android crown.

Would it be able to live up to it’s potential?

Now that Sony has bought out Ericsson will they be able to produce a better, top end device?

Read on to hear my thoughts on these questions.

Motorola Razr Review

Motorola has brought back to life the famous Razr branding, the original Razr was a clamshell device and was seen by many as a fashionable phone. While the original ran Symbian, this time the new re-imagined version runs on Android.

The device isn’t quite what we’re used to, it’s quite different to what we’ve seen from Motorola before but it certainly has its appeal. It might not be the worlds slimmest phone, but certainly feels that way.

The device comes packing with Android 2.3.5, when pretty much the whole world is expecting Android 4+, Motorola does plan to update it sometime this year, but our task is to give it full run through and evaluate how good of a phone it is as it is now, at this very moment.
