Android 2.3.4 For The Samsung Galaxy S II Leaks Out!

The folks over at the XDA Forum are always surprising us, and here we are, once again, surprised. XDA has managed to get hold of  an early release of an upcoming Android update for the Samsung Galaxy S II, to be specific, Android 2.3.4.

If you haven’t already installed the modified GTalk application for video chat, then it was probably because you were waiting for 2.3.4. Now you can finally enjoy that feature.

Other improvements include bug fixes, such as a fix to the battery drain bug found in many builds of Android 2.3.3. Of course, you still need to flash this ROM through ODIN, so I wouldn’t recommend this if you’re a novice but I must say, ODIN is extremely easy to use. Just make sure you follow all the instructions to the letter (as with anything) and you should be fine.

Anyways, a big thanks to forum member ficeto and his team for their efforts. Check out the link below if you want to flash the ROM
